Well, Riv...I MUST say that the rigorous and painstaking analysis of the raw data, provided so graciously by Linda J., was exhausting & costly to my laboratories. However, all the scientists & investigative journalists gave freely of their ...time and expertise.
Of course, my eight-way analysis of variance statistical workup took 22 days and 11 hours...but it was well worth it. I extend my thanks to the Lawrence Livermore Nuclear Weapons Facility and the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine, and the Natick Labs' Climatic Chambers, as well as the MIT electron microscopic analysis of the carbon-dated ink samples from the conclusive evidence.
Apologies to the University of Hawaii staff for my bad joke (when asked why I stayed in the Lab all day and night & did not set foot on any beach...)...my response of "Well, I'm an academia nut..." did not sit well with the native population, who depend on the macademia nut for export.
One final reminder: nothing is EVER 100% in scientific inquiry...ever! BUT, these results are statistically significant to the .0000000000001 Level...SO...you can bank on them!
